Certified Manager of Community Associations, a Fellow of the British Institute of Risk Management and holds a U.S. BA Certification in Risk Management. Formerly Vice President of the Steven D. Bell and Company, Community Association Division, Terry and his wife Jill purchased the Division in May 2002. As principal of Slatter Management Services, Inc. Terry has enjoyed maintaining a leading edge role in Community Association Management. Terry currently serves as Past Chairman of the Central North Carolina Better Business Bureau and Past President of the Guilford Rotary Club of Greensboro.
Kay joined Slatter Management Services, Inc. in November 2005 after relocating from London, England. Prior to Kay’s move to North Carolina she gained customer service and management experience as Sales Manager for a large hardware company. Since joining Slatter Management, Kay has acquired a wealth of community management knowledge and education. Kay has been awarded her CMCA, AMS and PCAM designations. Kay's experience as an Administrative Assistant, a Community Manager, and Director of Operations provides her with key insights into the industry and lays a solid foundation for her role of Vice President.
Phyllis joined Slatter Management Services, Inc. in April 2002. She studied accounting at GTCC. She came to Slatter Management with 5 years experience of community management accounting and has been with the company for 12 years. She has received her CMCA certificate and is a Certified Manager of Community Associations, and has completed the M-100 course - The Essentials of Community Association Management, the M-206 course - Financial Management and the M-310 course - Management Company Administration.
Chris started with Steven D. Bell & Company in March of 1994 working in the Homeowners Association division as an Administrative Assistant. After the division was purchased by Terry Slatter in May of 2002, Chris chose to continue working for Terry and focus on working in the accounting side of the company. Chris has also served on theBoard of Directors for her own HOA which has provided valuable insights into both sides of the HOA world.
Dean joined Slatter Management Services, Inc. in October 2005. Dean spent 10 years in Maintenance Management. His skills have provided Slatter Management with a skilled and professional maintenance team. Dean is also the manager of A-1 Pool Service, Inc., servicing private and commercial pools. Our NC Certified Pool Operators have over 17 years combined experience providing hassle free year round, seasonal maintenance, repairs and pool supplies.
Jacqueline began her career with Slatter Management Services, Inc. in 2001, after obtaining an associate's degree in business and managing apartment communities for 10 years in which she earned her CAM. Jacqueline's solid organizational and time management skills, along with her unique skill set for problem solving is very beneficial for our communities.
Andrea joined Slatter Management in August 2009. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Andrea has extensive customer service experience through her work in hotel management and over 7 years in the community association industry. She received her CMCA license in April, 2011 and was the recipient of the '2011 Manager of the Year Award' presented during the 2011 Community Association Institute Annual Conference. Andrea also serves on CAI-NC Triad Chapter Council.
Megan Dougherty joined Slatter Management in September of 2013. She moved to North Carolina in 2010 from California where she was born and raised. Megan has an Associate's Degree in Social Sciences and a Bachelors of Science Degree with a Specialization in Human Services. Megan currently serves on the CAI Triad Council Committee and is very active in the Community Association Institute.
Carol graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing. She has 20 plus years of customer service experience and Key Accounts Management and takes a hands on approach to Community Management. Carol has an eye for attention to detail, values relationship building and is currently studying for her CMCA.
Mary joined Slatter Management in February 2016. She is a true people person and a Greensboro native. Mary brings with her to Slatter extensive experience in Customer Service gained thru her service in Wholesale Distribution Sales, Account Management, and New Home Sales. In 2017, Mary will be taking her CMCA to further her education and level of service in Homeowners Association Management.
Karie joined Slatter Management Services, Inc. in June 2018. She recently moved back from Syracuse, NY to be closer to her family. She came to Slatter Management with an extensive customer service background of 25 years ranging from retail, travel industry, Parks & Recreation, and medical call center. Prior to moving back to North Carolina, Karie trained in Emergency Communications. Karie is a dedicated team player and will extend her hand to help out in any area that she can. She loves working with the public and likes to preserve harmony in all situations. Karie continues to grow with Slatter Management and will continue to further her education in homeowner’s association management.
Mandy moved to North Carolina in 2009 with her family from Central New York though a native of Western New York. She joined Slatter after working over 10 years in higher education as an academic advisor, and assisting over 1,500 students in her last year. Mandy holds a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, and has been in the business of helping professions and customer service since graduating from college. Mandy will take the M-100 course and be working towards her CMCA.
Brandi graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Minor in Information Technology. She has 15 plus years of customer service experience and banking. She will be taking her M-100 and CMCA sometime this year to further her education in homeowner’s association management.
Jennifer joined Slatter in March 2018. Since then she has transitioned into the Multi-Family Department in which she utilizes her great customer service skills. Working in the Multi-Family Department has allowed Jennifer to work with an array of projects from condominiums to townhomes. Jennifer has worked as a producer for sports documentaries working with high profile clients. Jennifer will be taking her M-100 and CMCA this year to further her education in homeowner’s association management. You can’t miss her smiling face in the office!
Marci joined Slatter Management in February 2018. She resumed her career after being a stay-at-home mom for 20 years to 2 fabulous children. Marci brings to Slatter 7 years of experience in corporate administration and communications. She is a native of Greensboro and enjoys the variety and people aspect of HOA management. Marci will be taking her M-100 and CMCA this year to further her education in homeowner’s association management.
Jeremy is originally from Southern California and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature and Writing Studies from Cal State San Marcos. After spending a number of years in recruiting and staffing providing excellent service through relationship building and account management, he passed the North Carolina real estate exam and decided to pursue a career property management. Jeremy values quick response time, diligent work ethic, and a positive upbeat attitude.
