Our HOA has been managed by Slatter for almost a year. We have found them to be extremely helpful in dealing with everything from small issues to large. We have been associated with Slatter Management for five years now. They were very helpful in our transition from builder responsibility to our own board. We have had two managers both great advocates for our development. Our current manager is on top of every question, request or disaster we have laid on him. Sending help promptly, answering e-mails, even coming by to see for himself what is needed. They are walking us through step by step procedures to transition to a resident board of directors. They have improved communications with our developer and between residents. Alex Russell at Slatter Management has been wonderful to work with. He is very professional, and always follows through with information the board asks him to research if he doesn't already know the answer to our questions. He also helps keep meetings on track and is a pro at being a "neutral party", staying calm and always being the voice of reason, never getting angry, upset, or defensive, even during heated discussions. His manager's notes and agendas are always thorough, and he always follows up when he says he will do something for the board. He is a pleasure to work with. As a builder in many different communities throughout Greensboro and Guilford County we deal on a fairly regular basis with Slatter Management for their Architectural Review Board. We have worked with Andrea many times turning in homes and remodel work for review. Approvals have always been prompt in their response time. We can also say, as a home owner in one of the communities governed by Slatter we have had the same quick, polite and very helpful response to all of our questions and needs. All of our dealings with Andrea, Slatter Mgmt., have been dealt with in a very professional and timely manner. Their property management, knowledge and skills are clear to see in how well all the communities are maintained. Our condos were built in the early 90's and have Quest piping. We have had to replace all of it! The project has been huge and complicated but Kay Thornton and Carol Johnson have been with us every step of the way. We have had such wonderful support in getting a loan, hiring contractors and for all the myriad steps involved. I can't say enough good things about them.
